Healthy Eats

 It's very very simple to eat healthy or healthier, I am aiming here to try and put some pointers and recipes across to show you how I eat that little bit healthier and fresher.
  
Don't get me wrong I'm no Slim Jim, however I always cook from fresh and eat healthy where possible. This doesn't mean food is going to cost an arm and a leg, you'll actually be pleasantly surprised not just with the tastes but also the costs.
 
Just remember cooking is very simple and you don't need all the top notch gadgets. In my experience the 'ready meal' culture came about through laziness. He/She would rather throw a salt and sugar filled ready meal into the oven for 20-30  minutes rather than cooking up something from fresh that may only take 10 minutes more in total to cook.
 
Ask yourself would you prefer an artificial flavour enhanced ready meal or a home prepared tasty, nutritious meal which you get the satisfaction of cooking and knowing EXACTLY what has been put in to it?
